Because I stand in literary solidarity with my page-turners, from prologue to acknowledgments. Reading is important; I hope to play a small part in encouraging you to develop the best habit there is.

« Rum »

There is no plant (sugarcane) & beverage (rum) that helps you better understand the historical connection between Africa <> Americas <> Europe. Don’t believe me? Well, that’s why we have books.

= )

Biases not aside, rum is just the best spirit there is. What other alcoholic beverage lubricates socializing (stereotypes notwithstanding) quite like the cane spirit head honcho?

There is nothing more important than engaging with each other deeply before we get knocked off this earth, as will inevitably happen. Let rum be your companion along the way.

« Louisiana »

Does a place get more interesting? A toast — to never allowing the state’s cane spirit (rum) heritage to die.

« Miscellaneous (“And Then Some”) »

Fake philosopher. Biased to NY & east coast hip hop. Dancehall set in motion the ripple that moves the rest of these waves (I kid, it was the Blues). It’ll range, but we’ll always swim back to shore (books + rum).

Cheers, preferably with a book in hand.

#rumresponsibly.

Book & rum talk. The two intersect often (call it a double). A splash of variation every now and again.
